Michigan governor snyder voting election

Governor Snyder vetos Michigan voter ID bills

(Governor) Snyder had planned to sign two voter suppression laws this morning. One would have put tougher restrictions on registering people to vote and the other would have required proof of citizenship in order to vote in MI.

He quietly vetoed them this morning.
