While President Obama visited Akron, Ohio, on Wednesday, the Romney cmpaign took to the airwaves with its latest ad in the Buckeye State.
Based on Obama’s support of the auto industry bailout - a point often reiterated by the president’s reelection campaign staff and supporters - the new 30-second spot is an attempt to draw attention to the lives of those negatively affected by the industry’s consolidation in 2009.
The ad features Al Zarzour, who was forced by General Motors to close his family’s dealership in Lyndhurst, Ohio after four decades in business.
