Olivia Munn, model, comedian and actress on the television hit, “The Newsroom,” visited Kent State University Friday with Rep. Kathleen Clyde (D) in conjunction with the "Gotta Vote" bus. Munn stressed the importance of students making their voices heard, particularly in swing states.
"It’s important, especially in Ohio, where you guys make the difference," Munn said. "You know, Ohio is like a Narnia. It’s this magical place where you guys can control elections. So it’s very important for everybody to get out and vote."
After remarks from both Clyde and Munn, students boarded the bus and headed to the Portage County Board of elections where they voted early.
