State Press reporter Dulce Paloma Baltazar Pedraza asked Arizona State University students what issues mattered most this election season.
“The issue I’m most concerned about is the job market when I graduate. I feel worries I’m not going to be able to finda job when I get out of college. It seems harder and more competitive. Both candidates are worried about this, but I don’t necessarily understand how they’re going to go about it.”
- Anthony Gomez, senior
“It’s more like a combination of issues I’m worries about; things like the economy, the deficit, personal freedom. The nominees don’t address them very well, but I think a third party does.”
- Logan Spencer, senior
“Lately I’ve been worried about public radio and TV. I don’t think without them, information would be available to underprivileged families. I think it’s a really good resource for people.”
- Ross Engbritson, freshman
