With the Republican National Convention less than a week away, Gov. Rick Scott is preparing for his Monday night speech.
From the Tampa Bay Times:
Scott will discuss how the state needs a presidential partner that will reduce taxes, reduce regulation and reduce litigation, he told reporters Tuesday afternoon.

Florida Gov. Rick Scott told Fox News on Tuesday that getting jobs — not the Affordable Health Care Act — will help Floridians receive health care.
“Government involvement in health care has only cost health care costs to go up, and it’s rationing care,” Scott said. “It’s devastating for patients.”
Scott also addressed the voter purge on “America’s Newsroom.” -
The 2012 presidential election is just under five months away, and, in a state like Florida, nothing’s really sure until all of the ballots have been counted.
Five months give us enough time, however, to compile all the issues important to Florida voters on which the Florida media have been reporting. Watch for more details.
