state integrity investigation
-
The State Integrity Investigation is an ongoing, data-driven effort to examine states’ corruption based on policies and practices to hold elected officials accountable and encourage transparency. Scores are determined based on research and interviews conducted by local journalists that are checked for consistency by editors at Global Integrity and the Center for Public Integrity. Their scores are then reviewed by experts in each state. After Ohio received a D on their report card, Democratic leaders in the state are calling for a bipartisan task force to review policies. How does your state rank? Visit the State Integrity Investigation’s site to find out, and read more about Ohio’s results below.
