From Philly.com:
The state Supreme Court has punted the controversial Voter ID case back to the state’s Commonwealth Court for additional review, according to an order released [Tuesday].
Commonwealth Court Judge Robert Simpson, in an Aug. 15 ruling rejecting a request for a preliminary injunction to keep the state’s new Voter ID law from being used during the Nov. 6 general election, repeatedly mentioned a new form of identification being developed by the Pennsylvania Department of State for voters who were having trouble obtaining other types of state-approved legislation that will be needed to cast a ballot.

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney made a campaign stop in the western Virginia town of Salem on Tuesday, just two days before the Supreme court will rule on the constitutionality of President Obama’s health-care law.
Romney said the Supreme Court ruling will represent the failures of Obama. Continuing his recent criticism of Obama’s policy priorities, Romney focused on “Obamacare” and slammed the president’s first term as being a “waste.”
“If it is deemed to stand then I’ll tell you one thing, we are going to have to have a president, and I am that one, that is going to get rid of Obamacare and we are going to stop it on day one,” Romney said to a cheering crowd of supporters.
Romney will campaign in northern Virginia’s Loudoun County on Wednesday.

So much for “health-care Monday,” which had Washington and the media world in a rare tizzy. Shortly after ten o’clock this morning, John Roberts and his colleagues handed down a bunch of rulings, some of them significant, such as one that struck down part of the Arizona immigration law, but none of them pertaining to the Affordable Health Care for America Act, a.k.a. Obamacare. The justices, like producers of a Hollywood soap opera, were keeping their best plot twist for the end.
