An ad attacking Rep. Paul Ryan’s Medicare plans, “Granny Off the Cliff,” aired in El Paso County, Colo. as well as select areas in Ohio and Florida this week.
The ad was on track to run in Paul Ryan’s home state of Wisconsin, but was rejected by a television station in his constituency, according to the Agenda Project Action Fund.
"The apparently very small buy in Colorado was more about getting it on the YouTube radar," Colorado Pols wrote.
"Much of the political heat generated lately has been over Medicare and Mitt Romney’s tax returns," Tom Raum reported today. These new, hot issues are not going away anytime soon this election, he says.
President Obama criticized Republican candidate Mitt Romney at a campaign stop in Durham, N.H. on Monday for what he says is a history of outsourcing jobs.
"Gov. Romney’s commitment to outsourcing jobs is not just a part of his record," Obama said, "it’s part of his overall economic vision that he and Republicans want to implement if they win this election."
The Washington Post reported last week that Bain Capital invested in overseas companies while Romney ran it.
